Make your visit count with practical questions about boundaries, tree care, water and ongoing management.
Find the exact plot
Ask the team to identify the plot on the ground and show how its boundaries relate to the survey documents. Check the approach road and clarify whether access is legally recorded.
Photographs and a site tour are useful context, but they are not a substitute for a professional survey or a title review.
Look at the plantation
Ask about the age of the trees, planting records, survival rates and replacement arrangements. Walk through the plantation and discuss how tree health is monitored.
Find out who maintains the site and how frequently the team checks for pests, damage or other problems.
Discuss water and maintenance
Ask about the water source, seasonal availability and irrigation arrangements. Clarify which maintenance services are included and how unexpected costs are handled.
Discuss fencing, security, reporting and how you can receive updates when you are overseas.
Take questions home, not just photographs
Request copies of the documents and agreements you discussed. Give your independent advisers time to review them before paying or signing.
You can arrange a visit through the farm-visit form on the homepage, or contact RedGoldAgro to discuss your questions first.
